The christian sharing center (dba, the sharing center) provides social services to individuals and families in need through 5 main avenues:1) family support program: helping families and individuals with urgently needed financial assistance to prevent homelessness.2) the pantry: the sharing center's pantry is the largest free food source in seminole county. Each family receives a months worth of hand-selected, nutritious groceries.3) projectrise: a 5-week workforce development program helping families and individuals navigate employment and housing for long-term stability.4) oasis: our respite for those experiencing homelessness, where we provide showers and laundry and other essential goods and services.5) mental health - our support for any client of our other four programs may see our licensed mental health provider free of charge.located in longwood, fl, our services reach over 12,300 individuals who are experiencing food insecurity and poverty. In fiscal year, 2024-2025, the sharing center distributed 1,022,000 lbs of essential foods and shared $ 5.8 million worth of essential resources such as household goods, toiletries, and furniture.the sharing center is diversely funded…
