Bring the entire US grantmaking universe into your assistant. Add Plinth as a connector and it can search funders, pull dossiers, and answer questions grounded in public IRS filings — right inside your chats. Available on the Pro plan; works with Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Search organizations
Find any funder or nonprofit across the universe — by name, state, or size.
Get a foundation dossier
Pull Plinth's analytical summary for one foundation: giving, causes, grantee network, outcomes, look-alikes.
Ask a foundation a question
Natural-language Q&A grounded strictly in that foundation's own IRS filings.
Add it
Copy your connector URL (also on your account), then follow the steps for your assistant:
/api/connector/mcp- Open Customize → Connectors and click ＋ → Add custom connector.
- Paste the URL above, click Add, then Connect and sign in once to authorize — we verify your Pro plan by email, no key to manage.
- In any chat, open the ＋ menu (lower-left) → Connectors and switch Plinth on.
Self-serve on Claude Pro / Max. On a Team or Enterprise workspace an admin adds it once under Organization settings → Connectors; members then just click Connect. Works on claude.ai, desktop and mobile.
Two different plans, just so it's clear: whether you can add connectors at all is a feature of yourassistant's plan (Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365), separate from Plinth. The Plinth connector itself needs Plinth Pro.
