Two foundations can look alike on the surface, same state, same scale, same headline cause, and still give in entirely different ways. This tool puts any funders side by side and reads out where they actually differ: what they fund, the size of the check, whether the money goes to returning grantees or new names, how much of the asset base is granted each year, and the grantees they share.
Every figure is read from IRS Form 990 and 990-PF e-file returns. Start with any grantmaker; we will suggest funders from its co-funding circle and its home state. A worked pair is below, with real figures. The side-by-side view is a paid feature, included from the $75 plan up.
