Mission

The lausanne movement exists to activate the body of christ to accelerate global mission together through convening global influencers, creating biblically grounded missional content, fostering catalytic collaboration, and equipping leaders across generations to ignite the whole church to share the whole gospel with the whole world. Our vision is to see the gospel for every person, disciple making churches for every people and place, christlike leaders for every church and sector, and kingdom impact in every sphere of society.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. During 2025, lausannes 12 global regions gathered thousands of leaders from over a hundred different countries for equipping and mobilization at the national and regional level. Through regional and national lausanne and partner gatherings, new relationships, ideas, and initiatives across the global church were ignited. Through stewarding momentum from the fourth lausanne congress in late 2024, we began to see significant fruit as leaders turned connection into collaboration and vision into action. Additionally, across the lausanne movement, 27 issue networks mobilized leaders to address the most pressing missional challenges of our time. Over 7,200 leaders engaged globally through lausannes 27 networks with 63 catalysts guiding strategic conversations contributing to the fulfillment of the great commission. In 2025, lausanne also stewarded a strategic investment in more than 900 younger leaders whose influence will shape the global church for decades to come. Through mentoring, training, and global connections, emerging leaders are discovering renewed calling, strengthening their ministries, and multiplying gospel impact in communities around the world. Who funds it, year by year

2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 5 funders to 10 funders, grant income rose $423k → $647k.

12 of 32 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 38% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $2.9M arriving through sponsors registered in 11 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
