Program

On its FY2023 return the organization reported starting a significant new program and a significant change in how it conducts a program.

In 2023, we began two new non-congregate shelter navigation center operations in sacramento county and assumed the operations of a scattered site bridge housing program, also in sacramento county. Through this program, the agency provides housing in multiple locations throughout the county for clients facing emergency housing needs. Each client receives supportive services from the agency's case managers and housing navigators, as well as assistance with essential needs. We also added some significant homeless prevention and rapid rehousing programs in riverside county; thereby, providing thousands of nights of emergency shelter in motels as well as helping both individuals and families either prevent homelessness in the midst of challenging circumstances or exit homelessness through securing, moving into, and sustaining permanent housing.
