By offering these procedures at a fraction of the market rate, we ensure that cost is never a barrier to a service that is vital for both pet health and community-wide population control.

Because this care can be cost-prohibitive for pet owners, we provide a transparent, low-cost pricing model. This ensures pet owners can access life-saving treatment and essential medical care that may otherwise be out of reach.
$505,244 spent$427,449 earned by the program2% of program spendingOther program services include dental services, additional surgeries, and emancipet new school trainings. In 2024, emancipet performed dental procedures for over 900 pets. Dental care is often skipped due to high costs and surgical fees. By offering these services at a transparent, affordable rate, we allow owners to address dental disease and oral pain that may otherwise go untreated.when pets require soft-tissue procedures like mass removals or wound repairs, the cost of specialty surgery can be a barrier to obtaining care. In 2024, we performed over 600 of these additional surgeries, providing a vital resource for owners to address urgent medical needs that fall outside of routine wellness or spay/neuter.beyond our own clinics, emancipet works to increase access to veterinary care. In 2024, we trained 3 external veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume surgical techniques. This program shares our efficient medical models with the broader veterinary community so more pets can be served nationwide.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2021 to 2022, from $10M to $14M (+37%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2020 7% · 2021 9%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.
18% of EMANCIPET INC’s revenue is contributions — more earned-revenue than three-quarters of its peers (67% for the typical peer).

Who funds it, year by year
2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 17 funders to 25 funders, grant income fell $1.4M → $1.4M.
16 of 64 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 17% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of EMANCIPET INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Top 30 of 64 funders by total. Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How concentrated its funding is
EMANCIPET INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 41% of grant income and the top three 62%; half comes from just 2 funders.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left
76% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund EMANCIPET INC.
Largest funder’s share by year: 2017 42% · 2018 42% · 2019 32% · 2020 32% · 2021 52% · 2022 75% · 2023 37% — diversifying over time.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How long its funders stay
59% of EMANCIPET INC's funders are still giving 3 years after their first grant; 66% give in more than one year at all.
Share of funders still giving k years after their first recorded grant, pooled across every acquisition cohort. A funder counts as retained in a year only if it made a grant that year. Measured to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving — a funder cannot be counted as lapsed in a year most filers have not reached.
Where its funders are
EMANCIPET INC draws 83% of its grant income from funders outside Texas, across 13 states in all.
In-state vs out-of-state, by year
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $2.7M arriving through sponsors registered in 12 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
