Programs
At risk youth and empowerment - the organization empowers youth to become authentic leaders and contributing community members - the organization accomplishes this through facilitating experiential relationships with rescued wolves and the natural environment. The organization served approximately 2,700 youth and adults via our on-site empowerment programs, our largest impact to date. The organization is placed in service area 1 of los angeles county, which is impacted by the highest rates of welfare and poverty in the county. Our location allows for the youth in the most critical need to be able to access a unique resource. Most recently we've developed an extraordinary, multimedia educational experience-wolf lessons for human lives-a platform for youth around the world. (continued on sch. O) considered our "academy," it's currently available and serving over 2000. The lessons align with casel and sel.

Our pack services team provides one-of-a-kind care and enrichment to our wolf pack, who become ambassadors of hope to all who witness them. Our facility is an a-rated and licensed with the usda & la county dept of animal care and control for the rescue and lifetime care of wolves and wolf dogs. All animals under our care have an individualized health and behavioral plan that meets each animals needs. This plan is constantly revised and updated.

We engage generations of people to connect with their inner resilience and inherent role in the ecosystem through an integrative, non-traditional program we created called wolf therapy. Embodying personal power, self-awareness, and self-regulation, this program taps into our ancestral connection with wolves to find our unique pack howls. We stand as allies to wolves in the wild as we bridge essential conversation around human empowerment and the natural world, creating global impact. During july 2024 through june 2025 we held 33 private visits, 34 semi-private visits and 6 community events, serving over 1,700 people. These visits allow us to offer a (continued on sch. O) unique experience for visitors, to both immerse themselves in nature and learn the resilience that the wolves' stories tell.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $1.4M to $2.3M (+66%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.

Who funds it, year by year
2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 2 funders to 9 funders, grant income rose $16k → $688k.
10 of 18 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 69% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of SPRING OF EVOLUTION INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How concentrated its funding is
SPRING OF EVOLUTION INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 52% of grant income and the top three 76%; half comes from just 1 funder.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left
86% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund SPRING OF EVOLUTION INC.
Largest funder’s share by year: 2017 63% · 2018 100% · 2019 55% · 2020 32% · 2021 47% · 2022 49% · 2023 54% — diversifying over time.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How long its funders stay
40% of SPRING OF EVOLUTION INC's funders are still giving 3 years after their first grant; 56% give in more than one year at all.
Share of funders still giving k years after their first recorded grant, pooled across every acquisition cohort. A funder counts as retained in a year only if it made a grant that year. Measured to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving — a funder cannot be counted as lapsed in a year most filers have not reached.
Where its funders are
69% of SPRING OF EVOLUTION INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Of the $601k that is directly attributable, 95% of it comes from California funders.
In-state vs out-of-state, by year
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $1.4M arriving through sponsors registered in 9 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
