01What it does

What OASIS Network of New Tampa Inc does

Mission

Oasis Network ensures that all Hillsborough County public school students have equal access to the clothing, hygiene items, and resources they need to fit in with peers, meet dress code requirements, attend school every day, and fully engage in their learning.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. In 2025, OASIS Opportunities served over 10,525 students across Hillsborough County Public Schools, ensuring access to essential clothing and hygiene items needed to attend school with confidence and dignity. Despite being closed for approximately six months due to relocation and the closure of multiple clothing sites, OASIS continued to meet critical needs. OASIS distributed more than 61,000 items through a combination of service models, including clothing site operations, which supported over 1,500 students, and the Back2Basics program, which reached approximately 4,500 high-need students with a weeks worth of clothing, socks, and underwear. OASIS also expanded its Online Order & Delivery Program, serving nearly 1,939 students, 975 identified as homeless, by delivering items directly to schools within two days in a discreet manner. Through strategic partnerships, nearly 800 pairs of shoes were distributed, and 350 volunteers contributed 3,457 hours of service to our programs.

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 4 funders to 9 funders, grant income rose $48k → $151k.

3 of 19 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 5% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of OASIS Network of New Tampa Inc’s funders (the co-funder graph). Top 18 of 19 funders by total. Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

OASIS Network of New Tampa Inc has a broad base — no single funder exceeds 26% of grant income, and it takes 3 funders to reach half.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 3 funders to its left

40% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund OASIS Network of New Tampa Inc.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $44k arriving through sponsors registered in 3 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
