Latinos En Spokane's center for latinos is a culturally rooted, community-driven hub offering comprehensive wrap-around services that support latino and immigrant families in spokane county. Open as a safe, welcoming space, the center provides access to self-help resourcesincluding free internet, printing, and court document assistancemonthly legal and immigration clinics, esl and drivereducation classes, itin and computer workshops, health and social service navigation, small business and economic development support, and vibrant cultural events like language-accessible driver's ed and el mercadito. By bringing services directly to where the community is, building trust, and offering culturally and linguistically tailored programming, the center empowers individuals to integrate, participate civically, and thrive socially, economically, and culturally within the broader spokane communityection with local and state programs.in 2023, we doubled the size of our community center, launched emprendeteour latino business centerand provided rental assistance, we hosted 12 free legal clinics, hosted 80 community events, distributed over 3,079 oral hygiene products

El mercadito was developed to create access to fresh cultural foods, activities, and provide support for local entrepreneurs and organizations to showcase their products and services. At el mercadito you can obtain fresh foods and vegetables, cultural foods, receive your covid-19 vaccine, listen to music, and dance at our zumba classes. In 2023, we reached over 2,092 families through el mercadito, distributing 98,000 lbs of food. Throughout the year el mercadito held 80 cultural events and featured outreach with chas clinics.
