The organization serves the iowa counties of des moines, henry, lee, and louisa. Wic services are also provided in muscatine and washington counties.

Programs
Head start and early head start - head start is a comprehensive development program for preschool children, primarily all of whom come from low-income families. The program's goal is to provide activities designed to assist those children with their education and training to improve their health and well-being. Early head start provides physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth for infants and toddlers and strengthens family and community support for children and families.
