The foundation pursues and secures philanthropic contributions to enable children's health system of texas, a 501(c)(3) organization, and its related entities to fulfill the mission of making life better for children, in furtherance of their charitable purposes. To accomplish this purpose the foundation, like children's health, is committed to supporting the institution's guiding principles: quality care, research and innovation, education and advocacy, excellence and accountability. The foundation, in addition to soliciting contributions, then holds, administers, invests cash and other property that was contributed and makes transfers to children's health system of texas and its affiliated 501(c)(3) entities for use in pursuing their tax exempt mission.
