As such, it provides grants to cultural organizations and creative professionals, advocates for arts and cultural funding, enhances local arts education, offers support services to foster growth in the cultural sector, and promotes cultural tourism. The Council's other programs and services are supported by private funds derived from donations and membership. (Continued on Schedule O)(Continued from page 2, Part III, line 4a) The Council's headquarters in Lake Worth Beach serves as a venue for gallery exhibitions and performances by artists who live or work in Palm Beach County, and includes a VISIT FLORIDA - designated Florida Certified Tourism Information Center and gift store with hand-crafted items by local artists. 03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 12 funders to 21 funders, grant income rose $307k → $435k.

5 of 60 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 9% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Left out of every figure on this page: $43k from 4 payers (the payer shares this organization's board, largest The Milton and Tamar Maltz Family Foundation). These are real filings, and they are not money Cultural Council of Palm Beach County Inc raised.

From the IRS filings of Cultural Council of Palm Beach County Inc’s funders (the co-funder graph). Top 30 of 60 funders by total. Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $446k arriving through sponsors registered in 5 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
