01What it does

What The Foundation for a Christian Civilization Inc does

Mission

This society is a civic, cultural and nonpartisan organization which, inspired by the traditional teachings of the supreme magisterium of the roman catholic church, works in a legal and peaceful manner in the realm of ideas to defend and promote the principles of private ownership, family and perennial christian values with their twofold function: individual and social.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Publications: the foundation published crusade 6 times during the year, and each issue is sent to approximately 55,000 people. The foundation continued the extensive effort to promote the book, return to order: from a frenzied economy to an organic christian society. New books published include a spanish rosary book, the synodal process is a pandora's box (english and spanish), and the breached dam: the fiducia supplicans surrender to the homosexual movement. A total of 766,591 books related to the furtherance of the values of christian civilization were distributed during the fiscal year. The foundation continued to maintain four principal websites: the tfp site, tfp.org; the america needs fatima site, www.anf.org; the tfp student action website, tfpstudentaction.org; and the return to order site, returntoorder.org. Several smaller sites and blogs publish content produced by the foundation. These sites and blogs receive more than 326,000 unique visitors monthly. The tfp and return to order publish one article or position paper daily. The other sites publish information about the activities of each campaign. Both a fatima and sacred heart-themed calendar were published this year.

  2. Public witnesses:the public square rosary crusade continued in 2023. On october 14, 2023, there were 22,045 rosary rallies in public places across america. An estimated 350,000 people prayed the rosary for america on that day. Many held banners that made it clear to passersby what they were doing and why. Many captains signed up on the websites and social media. The monthly rosary rallies program continued this year, and the protest captain network grew. Monthly rally themes include praying for the police, supporting traditional marriage, and christmas. The internet is also a powerful method to encourage and educate the public about many issues. America needs fatima and return to order did online petitions opposing the promotion of satanism and several blasphemies around the country. Tfp student action did several petitions to catholic universities that hosted speakers and events contrary to catholic teaching. As part of the america needs fatima effort to promote the kingship of christ in june, more than 80 billboards carried the message "june is devoted to the sacred heart of jesus."

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 6 funders to 30 funders, grant income rose $7k → $501k.

10 of 75 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 60% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of THE FOUNDATION FOR A CHRISTIAN CIVILIZATION INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Top 30 of 75 funders by total. Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

THE FOUNDATION FOR A CHRISTIAN CIVILIZATION INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 32% of grant income and the top three 77%; half comes from just 2 funders.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left

91% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund THE FOUNDATION FOR A CHRISTIAN CIVILIZATION INC.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $604k arriving through sponsors registered in 8 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
