What Noble Warriors Inc does
Mission
Noble warriors' mission is to serve churches as they equip men to walk with christ and lead well.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Conference ministry: noble warriors conference ministry advanced in 2025 with our leader's conference in richmond followed by men's conferences in fredericksburg, charlottesville, and yorktown. Each event featured two keynote speakers, worship, equipping workshops, and resources for men. A total of over 1350 men attended these events that set the stage for year- round ministry serving and equipping churches.
$109,164 spent$68,842 earned by the program37% of program spendingNoble resources - podcast, mentoring, coaching tools, the manger build/dad's tools: the noble warriors podcast has become a consistent resource for men's ministry leaders featuring a range of guests, many of whom are keynote speakers and workshop presenters at our conferences as well as authors and men's ministry practitioners. Noble warriors also enjoyed representation in various forms and mike was able to lead small group workshops in several contexts including a small town/rural church conference, sbc of virginia annual meeting, national coalition of ministries to men national gathering, etc.
$71,809 spent$12,245 earned by the program24% of program spendingChurch consulting - coaching - seminary engagement - denominational engagement: the various ministry initiatives of noble warriors provide exposure and promote the value of strategic men's discipleship. But the goal of the ministry is to engage local church pastors and leaders directly. Coaching small groups and pastoral teams affords deep impact because of the personalization opportunity for individual churches and leaders. Noble warriors continues to pursue a "champion for men" in every church who will speak up for the impact of men's discipleship and encourage the church to disciple men. This effort is enhanced by the fact that noble warriors is recognized as the primary men's ministry partner for sbc of virginia. We are working to establish similar relationships with other denominations. Seminary connection/engagement continues as mike continues to pursue a doctor of ministry degree.
$56,535 spent19% of program spendingNational partnerships: noble warriors continues to participate in the ncmm (national coalition of ministries to men), familylife and the fatherhood comission to engage in meaniful relationships with other ministry leaders from across the country through scheduled meetings. Our executive directors also attended the annual meeting of the southern baptist convention to network with other ministry leaders and pastors. Local and state partnerships: noble warriors also continues to develop and refine deeper relationships and partnerships with other local and state ministries. Our team mobilized volunteers from a variety of churches to host a tailgate lunch for a small town/rural church pastors conference and a tailgate breakfast at the sbc of virginia's annual homecoming. We served breakfast to over 450 and enjoyed great exposure to church leaders.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2020, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2020, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $41k to $109k (+167%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2021 11% · 2022 15% · 2023 0%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.
81% of NOBLE WARRIORS INC’s revenue is contributions — about as donation-reliant as the typical peer (100% for the typical peer).

Who funds it, year by year
2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 1 funder to 4 funders, grant income rose $2k → $67k.
7 of 8 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 93% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of NOBLE WARRIORS INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How concentrated its funding is
NOBLE WARRIORS INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 41% of grant income and the top three 68%; half comes from just 2 funders.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left
100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund NOBLE WARRIORS INC.
Largest funder’s share by year: 2017 100% · 2018 100% · 2019 100% · 2020 100% · 2021 51% · 2022 96% · 2023 75% — diversifying over time.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How long its funders stay
40% of NOBLE WARRIORS INC's funders are still giving 2 years after their first grant; 63% give in more than one year at all.
Share of funders still giving k years after their first recorded grant, pooled across every acquisition cohort. A funder counts as retained in a year only if it made a grant that year. Measured to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving — a funder cannot be counted as lapsed in a year most filers have not reached.
Where its funders are
93% of NOBLE WARRIORS INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Of the $9k that is directly attributable, 100% of it comes from Virginia funders.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $112k arriving through sponsors registered in 7 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

These figures are read directly from IRS Form 990 / 990-PF e-file XML: this organization’s own return for FY2025 (financials across 2020–2025), and the filings of 8 funders that report grants to it. “On record” means captured in the filings we have parsed — a funder that does not e-file, or whose grant detail is not itemized, will not appear.
