Each grant recipient received either a $2,500 or $5,000 scholarship from the Fc Dallas Foundation. The intention of the scholarships is to help provide young people an opportunity to receive higher education. Awards were granted to athletes based on academic performance, extra-curricular activities, citizenship, leadership, and community service.
