01What it does

What Ecoflix Foundation Inc Fka Cambodian Wildlife Sanctuary Inc does

Mission

The cambodia wildlife sanctuary is committed to protecting remaining habitat for jungle animals in cambodia. We have been working in harmony with the government to protect a large area of un-mined jungle land north of the world famous ankhor wat temples. We have been rescuing endangered animals, with a focus upon elephants, primates and other unique, indigenous inhabitants of this portion of southeast asia. It is part of our core mission to employ local residents who have been hunting in order to survive. By enlisting their aid to protect the animals, we hope to change the long term prospects for protection of the habitat and animals in this area.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. We have successfully rescued four elephants, countless gibbons and monkeys, tigers, wild birds, sloths, snakes and other indigenous species. We have also developed our own military to protect our sanctuary land from illegal logging and poaching. As part of that process, we have developed a volunteer center where we welcome people from all over the world. Bungalows, bathrooms and a large communal kitchen and dining area welcome our volunteers. All power is provided by solar collection and all food served is vegan, grown on the property. We have built fire breaks, water features for the animals and we are in the process of constructing a world-first sanctuary for bull elephants.

  2. Love & bananas (film) was inspired by and filmed, in part, at the cambodia wildlife sanctuary. It is focused upon our asian partner, ms. Lek chaillert, a world renowned animal advocate and elephant sanctuary expert. She has been partnering with us for approximately 10 years to develop the sanctuary. Those funds, and more, were dedicated to the distribution of the film, worldwide, to promote the sanctuary, prevent tourists from innocently riding elephants without an awareness that it requires severe elephant abuse, and to secure volunteers and donors to help us expand and continue our mission to protect these defenseless animals and their habitat.

  3. The first not-for-profit streaming platform dedicated to saving animals and the planet. Original programming, championing animals and benign nature-based solutions to climate change.

CA

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $43k arriving through sponsors registered in 3 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
