01What it does

What Dynamic Dimensions Inc does

Mission

To provide vocational training, community residential services and supported employment for the developmentally disabled.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Residential and personal care alternatives: residential services are offered in two different settings. Individuals may live in comfortable, family environment group homes or may live alone or with a roommate in an apartment or a home. Services in these settings concentrate on the skills necessary to be able to live independently. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, nutrition, safety, hygiene, and community skills are taught in both settings. The group homes have a staff member on duty at the location 24 hours per day. Individuals in their own apartments may receive services daily as needed through the personal care alternatives program

  2. Supported employment services- the organization empowers our clients to engage in competitive work environments by giving them training, ongoing guidance and support in an effort to break down barriers and integrate into modern society. Through job coaching, job training, transportation assistance, and individually tailored supervision, the organization is able to help our clients work in grocery stores, restaurants, and other locations within the community

  3. Supported living services- spectrum strives to support individuals by providing services that allow them to live in their own homes and be a part of their community. These services enable adult participants to make choices, receive needed services and live more independently in their own home or in the family home.

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2019 → 2023: the base broadened from 2 funders to 3 funders, grant income fell $5k → $4k.

1 of 8 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 0% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of DYNAMIC DIMENSIONS INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

DYNAMIC DIMENSIONS INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 35% of grant income and the top three 70%; half comes from just 2 funders.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left

32% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund DYNAMIC DIMENSIONS INC.

Largest funder’s share by year: 2019 56% · 2020 62% · 2021 71% · 2022 71% · 2023 71% — growing more concentrated.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How long its funders stay

50% of DYNAMIC DIMENSIONS INC's funders are still giving 3 years after their first grant; 38% give in more than one year at all.

Colorado out of state home

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $121 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
