Programs
Other miscellaneous programs of the nonprofit were events and fundraising and community at large, with programs to support causes of the nonprofits mission statement. For 2022 got vax was a major program to deal with the covid 19 pandemic crisis. In 2022 the nonprofit collaborated with the community to continue our vaccine efforts with gotvax. Together we made sure over 13,000 low income and immigrant nevadans received their doses of life saving covid 19 and other vaccines.

We were told that the decision for the case would come in 2020. As part of our DACA Education Campaign, we were able to purchase equipment to film videos of our DACA recipients expressing how DACA had changed their lives. We were also able to begin a Facebook Live weekly video, in which we kept our DACA recipients and their families informed about the progression of the Court. On March 3rd, we began to wait for the decision that ultimately came on June 18th, 2020. Once the decision was announced and was in favor of DACA recipients, we were able to quickly inform those who had signed up of what was happening and for a brief period of time some were able to apply for the program. As the decision was contested, in Dec,2020 we were made aware that the decision had been upheld; Again we were able to reach out to to reach out to eligibles.
FAFSA Campaign with UNIDOSUS is where we helped families with US Citizen children obtain information and learn how to apply for FAFSA, WORKSHOPS WERE HOSTED WITH FOLLOW UP FOR INDIVIDUALS, WHO WERE ELIGIBLE. Educators participating in helping students fill out their FAFSA (If eligible). CONTINUED OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH FWD.US TO EDUCATE COMMUNITY MEMBERS ON THE IMPACT OF IMMIGRANTS IN OUR COMMUNITY.
