Program

  1. All program expenses relate to the organization, management, and facilitation of the mentor program which matches 1st through 6th graders with college student mentors for weekly afterschool activities. After spending time with their mentors, kids learned problem-solving and relational skills, saw themselves in a more positive way, and learned about careers they can have in the future. College students learn the importance of giving back and gain valuable leadership and communication skills.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $549k arriving through sponsors registered in 8 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
