01What it does

What Alianza Agri-Cultura de Taos does

Mission

Alianza Agri-Cultura de Taos (AA-CT) is working to restore and revitalize the agricultural fabric of Taos County, a formerly agrarian community in Northern New Mexico. We see agriculture as a convergence point, where culture, economy, environment and community meet. AA-CT seeks to foster sound relationships between generations and cultures by addressing gaps in agricultural support services and relevant value chains.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Alianza took lead in over 27 agricultural events for producers in Northern NM in 2025 including regenerative agriculture workshops, technical assistance workshops, agricultural listening sessions, and social events to support local farmers and ranchers. Alianza brought in several guest speakers from New Mexico and from around the country. Alianza worked with several producers and landowners on land-linking, connecting them for improved use of local agricultural land. Alianza facilitated collaborative learning opportunities for public grazing allotments, acequia community visioning efforts, grazing innovation workshops, and long term ecosystem monitoring. Alianza also launched a partnership with the ECDYSIS foundation to pilot soil testing and monitoring initiatives in Taos county. Alianza also co-led events with the De La Tierra coalition and refined its ability to do targeted outreach to ranchers and producers in Northern NM.

New Mexico out of state home

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $27k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
