Mission
First tee of roanoke valley enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of change. By integrating our life skills curriculum with the game of golf, we are creating active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence and resilience. Scott Robertson Memorial Junior Golf Academy dba the first tee of roanoke valley is a non profit corporation organized to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

Programs
School programs- in 2024, we provided support, training, program material and access to equipment for teachers at area elementary, middle and high schools to introduce first tee lifeskills and golf curriculum to students. Over 20,136 children participated in this programs at area schools.
