A grant of $15,000 was given to the Hailey Acevedo Power Up Against DIPG Research Fund at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN (EIN: 62-0646012), to support their efforts to develop effective treatments for both DIPG and DMG. 2. A grant of $5,000 was awarded to the DIPG/DMG Research Funding Alliance, administered by Tough2Gether Foundation in Manhattan, KS (EIN: 92-1204987). This funding will help support a grant to Rebecca Ronsley at Seattle Children's Hospital for her research on quad target CAR-T cell therapy outcomes from the BrainChild-04 clinical trial. 3. An additional $6,500 was awarded to the DIPG/DMG Research Funding Alliance (also administered by Tough2Gether Foundation) to help support the National DIPG/DMG Brain Tumor Board, which provides referring oncologists with advice from a panel of DIPG/DMG experts on the best treatment options for their patients. This service is a free and confidential resource for families across the United States. To date, this board has reviewed over 500 DIPG/DMG patient cases.…

3 of 4 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 56% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

How concentrated its funding is

PRINCESS HAILEY'S HOPE FOUNDATION leans on a few funders — its largest provides 55% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund PRINCESS HAILEY'S HOPE FOUNDATION.

Where its funders are

56% of PRINCESS HAILEY'S HOPE FOUNDATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Of the $8k that is directly attributable, 100% of it comes from funders outside Alabama, across 1 state.

ID

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $10k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
