01What it does

What Parents Invincible Inc does

Mission

Parents invincible represents parents across the city, regardless of school type. Above all, we believe in school choice and respect parents' informed decisions. We ensure they have the access to resources and information required to make informed choices about the decision impacting their access to high-quality education. We will actively seek and support the most disenfranchised and stand in the space for the voiceless. We aim to bridge gaps and find common ground in the best interest of families by taking a long-term, family-first view of our schools. Parents invincible is recognized as a major player in the school system of the city of camden. As such, we want to maintain our reputation as the parent group that should be consulted on issues impacting our children's education. The strategic plan parents invincible will use to carry out this mission is as follows: research, data, and education policy; community collaboration; advocacy and support; civic engagement.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. To further its mission, parents invincible works with families, school partners, and community leaders to identify resources for parents and their students and make parents connect with those resources. Parents lnvincible's outreach organizers conduct outreach via attendance at local communityevents, phone banking, house visits, one-on-one meetings, emails, andcanvassing.an early example of parents lnvincible's work is its development of the united parents council which is a group for parents with students across all school types, that meets monthly to discuss education. The united parents council works closely with school and community leaders to share ideas, and bring issues to light. Parents have used this space to discuss what their schools do well as well as issues or concerns they have with their school choice. Similarly, parents invincible created a homeschooling cohort to provide parents who choose to homeschool their children with a way to connect with other parents who homeschool their children, and to provide a place where these parents can learn more about resources available for those who homeschool. How concentrated its funding is

PARENTS INVINCIBLE INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 50% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund PARENTS INVINCIBLE INC.
