Fostering good mental health in teens: no shame on u reached over 3,700 participants with mental health programming which supported teens & those who work with or love them: -mental health trainings empowered summer camp counselors and staff to foster good mental health among children & teens. Camp leadership learned about mental health risk factors & warning signs-& were empowered to create a positive, caring camp environment that supported good mental health. During the trainings, camp staff also developed tools to reduce their own stress.-professional development sessions trained middle school & high school educators on key mental health topics, from managing anxiety during uncertain times to compassion in action: supporting mental well-being.-seminars about key issues provided good mental health tools to middle school & high school students, parents, and guardians. Sample topics included: language & stigma, how to support friends who are struggling & resiliency.
