Global impact habitat for humanity operates in more than 60 countries around the world, working with habitat national organizations and other partners to expand access to decent and affordable housing. Habitat's work is grouped into five geographic areas for administrative purposes: the united states and canada, latin america and the caribbean, asia and the pacific, europe and middle east, and africa. Habitat worked with over 2.5 million people around the world in fiscal year 2025 as they built or improved the places they call home. Habitat helped over 20 million people gain the potential to improve their housing conditions 155,936 through training and 20,725,972 through advocacy. In fy2025, habitat's network, including local affiliates and national organizations, engaged more than 800,000 volunteers to build, advocate and raise awareness about the global need for shelter. Since launching in may 2023, the home equals global advocacy campaign has improved access to adequate housing for more than 7.9 million people and has secured the organization $1.24 billion in government funding to improve housing in informal settlements around the world.
