As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Greenlight Operation's mission is to strategically combat human trafficking and serve sex trafficked women through a continuum of restorative care. We do this through our four pillars of service: education, advocacy, restoration, and sustainability. Greenlight Operation (the organization) is a local 501(c)(3), that prior to february 2021, was part of christian life assembly in cumberland county. The organization has led over 250 human trafficking seminars, collaborated with law enforcement, community groups, churches, and legislators on anti-human trafficking efforts, and opened the first restoration home in the capital region of pennsylvania that houses and provides rehabilitative care to female survivors of sex trafficking. Greenlight Operation is also a vetted and approved member of the dauphin county human trafficking task force.

  2. Greenlight Operation operates a restoration home in the greater harrisburg area. Survivors are not charged any fees, as the goal is to help them focus 100% on their healing and recovery. The restoration home houses female survivors for 12-18 months, and provides christ-centered, trauma-informed, individualized, comprehensive care. Services include, but are not limited to: safe housing, nutritious meals, licensed counseling, trauma-informed therapy, case management, job readiness training, access to medical and dental care, substance abuse recovery programming, and financial literacy courses. Greenlight Operation is dedicated to equipping survivors to live independent and sustainable lives. Upon completing our restorative programming, graduates will have access to a continuum of care through our community partners to ensure their long-term success.

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2020 → 2023: the base broadened from 2 funders to 12 funders, grant income rose $8k → $121k.

5 of 22 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 17% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of GREENLIGHT OPERATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

GREENLIGHT OPERATION has a broad base — no single funder exceeds 18% of grant income, and it takes 5 funders to reach half.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 5 funders to its left

40% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund GREENLIGHT OPERATION.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How long its funders stay

40% of GREENLIGHT OPERATION's funders are still giving 1 year after their first grant; 41% give in more than one year at all.

Share of funders still giving k years after their first recorded grant, pooled across every acquisition cohort. A funder counts as retained in a year only if it made a grant that year. Measured to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving — a funder cannot be counted as lapsed in a year most filers have not reached.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $55k arriving through sponsors registered in 4 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
