01What it does

What Give Hope Cat Rescue Inc does

Mission

Give hope cat rescue was officially founded and registered as a 501 (c)(3) public charity in 2020 but has been operating for 10 years under the leadership of our president, jane-ann springston, who was operating under the community group name, community cats of boca raton. We have grown to be one of the most supported animal welfare groups in south florida. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving new homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. Give hope volunteers have placed over 5,000 cats and kittens into homes and aided the control of overpopulation of community cats (free-roaming) through tnvr (trap-neuter- vaccinate-return).

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2021 → 2023: the base broadened from 2 funders to 4 funders, grant income fell $5k → $3k.

1 of 10 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 1% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Florida out of state home

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $496 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
