This funding offered small business grants to address revenue loss caused by the bus rapid transit (brt) project on east colfax. The work started last february 2025 with an $870k contract; more funding was added to continue the work and support businesses through these rough times, and it will end in december 2026. The fax business support office worked with 95 businesses, providing information about the brt construction project, its impacts and resources available to help. The bso also provided one-on-one technical assistance, including help with 5 permits and licenses, 7 grants for green business upgrades and construction-related relief, and 7 loans, as well as working with businesses to improve digital marketing through the creation of websites and social media.

In july 2025, the fax signed a six-month lease agreement with the city of denver to lease both properties for homeless clients, or clients at risk of homelessness, struggling with substance misuse and mental health issues for their roads to recovery program.in december 2025, the city proposed a three month extension to the fax's contract until an rfp is sent out to identify the property best fit to run the ddphe program for the next two years and possibly longer. In march 2026, the fax was selected to continue running the program in the shelters and is currently finalizing the contract. The redevelopment for the motel properties will begin in september 2028, once the existing billboard lease on the property expires. 03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 1 funder to 9 funders, grant income rose $50k → $645k.

3 of 16 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 22% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of EAST DENVER COLFAX PARTNERSHIP INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

EAST DENVER COLFAX PARTNERSHIP INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 36% of grant income and the top three 66%; half comes from just 2 funders.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left

42% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund EAST DENVER COLFAX PARTNERSHIP INC.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $498k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
