We also offer services at the time of surgery such as vaccines, microchips, and disease tests. The forgotten feline program (a tnr program) assists kind-hearted people care for the free- roaming or feral cats. We will spay and neuter the cats and give each a rabies vaccine. Lastly, we are proud to offer a pet food pantry that feeds the pets of families who are going through financial hardships, distributing more than 15,000 pounds of food this year. This keeps pets in their homes where they belong because a family does not need to make a difficult decision between feeding their pet and paying their bills. During the current fiscal year, chs spayed or neutered more than 900 owned animals and nearly 60 cats through our forgotten feline program. In…

Who funds it, year by year

7 of 28 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 5% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Left out of every figure on this page: $10k from one payer (the payer shares this organization's board, largest Jackson Community Foundation). These are real filings, and they are not money CASCADES HUMANE SOCIETY INC raised.
