01What it does

What Bible Thinker Inc does

Mission

Bible Thinker, Inc is a ministry dedicated to equipping people to think and live biblically. There are three main areas of teaching that we focus on:1. Teaching accurate theology based on exegeting the text of the Bible and confronting false teachings which spread so quickly and easily in a biblically unaware world. This is done both topically and systematically teaching the Bible. 2. Defending the biblical-Christian worldview and answering skeptics. This is done both through topical videos and as issues arise in the text of a verse by verse teaching. 3. Applying the Bible so that we can become true followers of Jesus in not only thinking right but living right. God's word has more to say about how we are to live than most people realize - this ministry hopes to show people the vast riches of the Bible which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. Bible Thinker continues to provide free teaching content to people around the world through YouTube, Instagram, various podcast platforms, radio stations, and Biblethinker.org. In 2025 people spent over 13 million hours watching our content just on YouTube. The recent work we've done on Cover-up Culture has brought many victims to us and we've been able to care for them not only in telling their stories and standing up against corrupt leaders as 1 Timothy 5:20 demands but also in sponsoring many people for spiritual abuse recovery sessions and helping protect against ungodly attacks by paying for legal consultations. By God's grace real change is beginning to happen in churches all over the place, as "Cover-up Culture" is now being acknowledged and many people are repenting, even if some of the leaders who are being exposed are not. We're praying this helps churches to think biblically about accountability. In prior generations it would have been impossible to freely distribute Christian video content into peoples hands and across the world like this or to run a ministry with such a wide reach while also maintaining relatively low expenses. It is truly a remarkable time we live in…

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2022 → 2023: the base narrowed from 3 funders to 2 funders, grant income fell $31k → $5k.

5 of 5 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of Bible Thinker Inc’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

Bible Thinker Inc leans on a few funders — its largest provides 56% of grant income and the top three 95%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund Bible Thinker Inc.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of Bible Thinker Inc's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $104k arriving through sponsors registered in 4 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
