On its FY2023 return the organization reported a significant change in how it conducts a program.
In March of 2022, the Board of Directors met to evaluate other strategies to meet our objective of how our organization could utilize the endowment funds to multiply our impact exponentially to reach hard-to-reach and underreached nations. Over the next few months, alternatives were discussed and evaluated. In August 2022, the Board of Directors decided on a strategy to focus on larger faith missions that impacted the hard-to-reach and underreached nations. The Board decided to send out an RFP (Request for Proposal) to nine proven ministries with indigenous leaders serving the hard-to-reach and underreached nations. Between October 2022 and February 2023, the Board interviewed and thoroughly vented the applicants. In mid-February 2023, the Board of Directors announced the awards. It was decided that once the awards were disbursed, and the operations issues were resolved, Above and Beyond Missions would then discontinue operations. The official certification of Articles of Dissolution by the Secretary of State was issued on December 6, 2023.

In 2022 the Above and Beyond Board of Directors determined that our Serve Local to Go global program had been impacted greatly due to the global pandemic as many other mission foundations were experiencing. While our Serve Local to Go Global was a tremendous success which assisting 1,350 global messengers to 89 nations over the span of operations. Our local global messengers had volunteered over 20,000 hours through over 479 local organizations to receive their Above and Beyond reward. Unfortunately, a new strategy was required to fulfill our mission to serving indigenous leaders in hard-to-reach nations. The Board of Directors of Above and Beyond Missions Inc. reviewed various strategies and selected a strategy that would serve our greater mission but would also change our program of Serve Local to Go Global.
