Program
Wichita falls crime stoppers (wfcs) involves the public in the fight against crime. Wfcs operates 940-322-9888 or 1-800-322-9888, a telephone tip line. Cash rewards up to $1,000 are offered to citizens who furnish information leading to the arrest and board approval of felony crime offenders or to the capture of felony fugitives. Your identity is protected. Most of the information received by crime stoppers is by telephone. When a call is recived by crime stoppers, it is logged with the date, time, and a brief summary of the callers information. Callers are furnished with a secret code number which is used in subsequent transactions. Callers may remain anonymous, with no pressure to reveal their identity and still collect a reward. Our organization provides a safe forum for citizens to report crime in their neighborhoods and schools without the fear of retaliation. We are the eyes and ears of law enforcement in the community.
