What Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance does
Mission
Working for over thirty years to address both sexual violence and domestic violence in the commonwealth of virginia. The focus on the alliance's activities will continue to be operation of a 24 hour hotline for victims, and the public training, and technical assistance for professionals responding to victims, coordination of statewide prevention work dedicated to the elimination of sexual and domestic violence, and the effective community responses to this violence.

Programs
The action alliance provides training, technical assistance and a variety of resources to support our member sexual and domestic violence agencies accross the commonwealth, as well as allied professionals seeking to provide an effective response to sexual and domestic violence. These services include basic and advanced training for professionals, customized technical assistance to build the capacity of agencies and communities, operation of a data collection system that describes the services provided by sdvas and measures the outcomes of those services, and the development and distribution of resources that support an effective response to sexual and domestic violence.
