What Therapeutic Works Incorporated does

Mission

Therapeutic Works Incorporated (twi) provides clinical support services that are delivered directly in correctional facilities for pre-trial clients, those incarcerated for aprole violations, or other detained individuals, as well as for community referrals designed to assess, support, and address the clinical needs of clients involved in the criminal and family legal systems. Twi works collaboratively with defense counsel to evaluate mental health and substance use concerns, identify risk and protective factors, and develop individualized community or release plans that prioritize treatment engagement, stabilization, and continuity of care. Services are often most beneficial during early stages of a case or when treatment, housing, or clinical barriers arise.

As stated on its FY2026 Form 990.

Areas of focus include housing stability, mental health symptoms and treatment history, substance use history, education, criminal charges and convictions, employment, and familial or social support.expert witness testimony: twi staff are available to provide expert witness testimony related to professional credentials, scope of services, screening findings, and proposed community or release plans. Testimony is focused on addressing court concerns related to risk mitigation, treatment engagement, supervision, and public safety. When appropriate, testimony may explain the rationale for recommended services and how proposed plans support compliance with court-ordered conditions.responsible adult interviewings: twi conducts responsible adult interviews to assess the suitability of proposed individuals identified to support a…
