Programs
AWARENESS - Each year in the United States, we lose more than 650,000 women and men to heart disease. Studies have shown that through prevention, early detection, and intervention, approximately half of those victims could have been saved. Since 80% of the risk factors that lead to heart disease can be prevented or managed, awareness and education are a critical first step in the fight against our number one killer. Because heart disease begins in childhood, it is vitally important that we have these conversations at the family level and extend it to our communities. In 2024, through our virtual and in-person programs and events, we shared our message with more than 2,500 women, men, and youth. Through our largest South Carolina awareness event - Back2School Block Party - we provided over 100 health screenings to adults and youth, distributed 625 book bags with school supplies and age-appropriate health messaging, and 300 Parent Resource Guides that provided heart health information as well as connecting them with 36 local service agencies which provide resources and programs to underserved families in the community. In 2024, we expanded our mission to Tennessee and participated…
$36,712 spent70% of program spendingACTION - The early detection of chronic disease is the first vital step in defeating its effect and improving outcomes. In 2025, we continued our partnership with the Singhi Charitable by serving adults at risk of heart disease through our Frontline Heroes Wellness Fund. This unique program provides Advance Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Screenings, Heart Health Evaluation and Lifestyle Coaching at no charge to our first responder, emergency services, nursing, and education sectors. During the year, we also continued to educate adults about advance screenings including the Coronary Artery Calcium Scans. We also have a scholarship program for at-risk women with income disparities through our #RedHeartMamas Women's Group.
$10,489 spent20% of program spendingADVOCACY - To influence and impact our communities, we are engaging women in our work through our grassroots group - #RedHeartMamas(R). While our local members participate in events and programs, including serving at our Back2School Block Party and, new for this year, our Pin the Heart on Grinch booth at ChristmasVille Rock Hill to reach families during the holiday season. We engage all members through a private Facebook group where we provide education, encouragement, and a sense of community to more than 1,100 women from around the country. Our goal is to teach women how to be their own best advocates as well as to incorporate and share healthy lifestyle choices in their own families and communities. Our live educational sessions through the Facebook group include our special Doctor Chat series where members can learn and engage with doctors specializing in women's health.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2018, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2018, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $39k to $79k (+102%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
84% of THE HEART2HEART FOUNDATION INC’s revenue is contributions — about as donation-reliant as the typical peer (100% for the typical peer).

Who funds it, year by year
2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 1 funder to 2 funders, grant income rose $2k → $5k.
4 of 7 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 39% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of THE HEART2HEART FOUNDATION INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How concentrated its funding is
THE HEART2HEART FOUNDATION INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 33% of grant income and the top three 70%; half comes from just 2 funders.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left
39% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund THE HEART2HEART FOUNDATION INC.
Largest funder’s share by year: 2017 100% · 2020 99% · 2021 79% · 2022 98% · 2023 95% — diversifying over time.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
54% of THE HEART2HEART FOUNDATION INC's grant income comes from South Carolina funders.
In-state vs out-of-state, by year
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $17k arriving through sponsors registered in 4 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
