As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Programs

Our support extends to individuals battling serious illnesses such as cancer, organ transplants, and als. In 2024, we provided assistance to just over 100 financially burdened patients. 2. Compassionate pawsour work includes funding service dogs, covering veterinary care for pets of homeless veterans, and supporting shelter animals through medical funding, transports, adoption programs, and spay/neuter initiatives in the florida parishes and acadiana regions. In 2024, we extended support to louisiana's most underserved areas, where animal control facilities typically lack resources for anything beyond euthanasia. These efforts saved over 275 animals and established a proven system of success through strong partnerships with veterinary clinics, dedicated volunteers, and rescue networks.

Who funds it, year by year

2020 → 2023: the base broadened from 3 funders to 6 funders, grant income rose $7k → $174k.

5 of 11 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 63% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

SCOTT'S WISH INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 34% of grant income and the top three 89%; half comes from just 2 funders.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left

96% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund SCOTT'S WISH INC.

Where its funders are

63% of SCOTT'S WISH INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Of the $133k that is directly attributable, 91% of it comes from funders outside Louisiana, across 4 states.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $223k arriving through sponsors registered in 4 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
