What Re-Christ Ministries Inc does

Mission

RCM continues to hold fast to the vision of creating, sustaining, and passing along proven reproducible means of discipleship for people throughout the US and the world. RCM is employing its methods of discipleship to help reach, teach, and multiple disciples of Jesus Christ. Technology has played an interval part in helping to share the Gospel of Christ with people outside of the region we reside. RCM is currently working from Mobile, AL as we serve alongside an existing Christian non-profit to minister to one of Mobile's most impoverished and gang troubled areas. We are working with the youth of this area. In addition, RCM also host men's gatherings in various parts of the US to promote Jesus and biblical manhood and strong family life. Our work is to help build up the community we live and other communities around the world through the love of God..

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. We support other local and national nonprofits or churches who are like minded and similar in nature to RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES. These other organizations help support lower socio economic communities and align with the mission of RE-CHRIST MINSTRIES in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. In addition to the support of organizations we also support other missionaries or pastor (ie persons) with general assistance for them to preform their duties which also align with the mission of RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES. Expenses for each program include salary/administrative costs/travel expenses to support this particular endeavor.

  2. RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES focuses much of its efforts in helping people know the Gospel of Christ and become followers of Christ. Therefore, we use resources towards setting up small community events, hosting meetings with individuals or small groups, meeting needs of the people we serve with general assistance, and supplying material resources for individuals and families to support their whole growth as an individual or family. We have partnered and volunteer with Light of the Village in Mobile AL to help extend their ministry to the poor in that area through after school programs and community lunches. Expenses for each program include salary/administrative costs/travel expenses to support this particular endeavor.

  3. Internationally: We provided support for the church in Guinea Bissau, West Africa. The monies which have blessed other nations go to serve church growth (funding for buildings), pastoral care (general assistance for the most poor in the world), and cost of leading mission teams from the US. Expenses for each program include salary/administrative costs/travel expenses to support this particular endeavor.

  4. We provided benevolent support to help some former students from Atlanta and the poor in Tucson AZ and Mobile AL. We still see God moving in the ministry He built in Atlanta. This is so rewarding and a missional goal of the ministry. This only happens as we seek to empower others.

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2017 → 2023: the base broadened from 1 funder to 3 funders, grant income rose $500 → $12k.

4 of 6 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 53% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 38% of grant income and the top three 83%; half comes from just 2 funders.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left

91% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES INC.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

53% of RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Of the $31k that is directly attributable, 100% of it comes from funders outside Alabama, across 2 states.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $35k arriving through sponsors registered in 4 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
