  2. A secondary activity is our availability as an emergency shelter in the even of a community catastrophe. Because of COVID we are still maintaining our drive-thru food pickup. A generous donor donated a John Deere 40KW generator and we were able to get it installed. It serves 2 purposes. If we loose electricity we are able to keep the coolers and freezers running to avoid spoiling food. Also it enhances our ability to be available as an emergency shelter with running water and electricity.

  3. A third activity is nutritional training to clients. We provide literature to clients regarding preparation of food and its nutritional value. We also offer classes in these topics. The clients are encouraged to sign up for the Federal Food Stamp Program the Pandemic EBT programs and local programs that feed children during the times they are not able to go to school and receive free meals.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $131 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
