Programs
Food pantry program services provided essential food assistance to residents of north liberty and rural johnson county. The pantry served 4,277 unique individuals and 1,355 unique families, offering weekly in-person shopping. Utilizing a client-choice model, families were able to select food items that best met their household's nutritional and cultural needs. In an effort to promote dignity, there were no limits on food quantities during 2025. As a result, the pantry distributed a record 815,356 pounds of food. These activities were made possible through the dedicated efforts of staff, volunteers, and community partners.
