Programs
Supported clinical research studies that improve treatment and cure of health problems prevalent among veteran patients and the relevant general population. Special emphasis is placed on projects that develop new technology, drug therapies and rehabilitation for the aging population. Support is also provided for basic science research projects designed to acquire new knowledge leading to improvements in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disabilities.
