01What it does

What Mental Wellness Innovations does

Mission

Educate, equip and empower children to manage the stress that comes from adverse childhood experiences. This will be done through the delivery of Feel Better Packs to children in low resourced schools domestically, as well as through international disaster relief efforts. Educating children will come through face-to-face classroom training, as well as the development of website material and the use of books written by the founder on mental wellness.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. Deliver Feel Better Packs to children in under-resourced schools who are suffering from trauma induced stress. Face to face training is provided to ensure the children learn mind-body control, allowing them to become empowered and relieve the stress that is impacting them. The schools that we serve include traditional schools, focused on the Cleveland, Ohio and Twin Cities, Minnesota. We also serve non-traditional schools, both domestically and internationally.

  2. Deliver Feel Better Packs to children in domestic and international relief situations. In 2025, this included responding to floods in Texas, the war in Ukraine and the Gaza strip. The Feel Better Packs have been developed in Spanish and English to allow for usage in international relief situations.

  3. Our mission is to educate, equip and empower. The delivery of Feel Better Packs is the equip part of this strategy. The educate element includes website development education material in 2025. In future years, we will add the writing and publishing of books that can be used alongside the Feel Better Packs, ensuring the educate and equip are executed simultaneously, resulting in the empowerment of children.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of MENTAL WELLNESS INNOVATIONS’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of MENTAL WELLNESS INNOVATIONS's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $21k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
