01What it does

What Live Vertical Inc does

Mission

Live vertical aims to help young people know christ and live a life for him. We serve students, campus ministers, and other adults in catholic schools. We achieve this vision through our four pillars of guided prayer during eucharistic adoration, training others to lead guided prayer, eucharistically centered retreats and helping schools prepare for, make and live a 33-school day consecration to the eucharist.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. Guide teens to christ while working with high school campus ministers and staff to build up structures and systems for long-term and transformative evangelization.

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.

6 of 15 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 23% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of LIVE VERTICAL INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

LIVE VERTICAL INC has a broad base — no single funder exceeds 21% of grant income, and it takes 3 funders to reach half.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Where its funders are

87% of LIVE VERTICAL INC's grant income comes from Pennsylvania funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $108k arriving through sponsors registered in 5 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
