01What it does

What Little Hearts Child Development Center does

Mission

Little hearts' mission is to provide the highest quality care and education of infants and children that is child-centered, holistic, and values all children as individuals. We strive to create an inclusive and safe environment where each child(continue on sch o) develops a lifelong love of learning within a healthy community.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Program

During the year, little hearts focused on the planning and development necessary to launch its child care center. The organization oversaw the construction of a new facility designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants and young children. Significant progress was made in coordinating the building project and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and accessibility standards.the organization also hired a center director to guide the licensing process, establish operational policies, and begin recruitment of qualified child care staff. Although the child care center was not yet licensed or staffed during the year, these foundational efforts were essential to preparing for the delivery of early childhood education and care services in the upcoming year.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990, which lists programs largest first by expense.

Who funds it, year by year

Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.

2 of 8 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 3% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
