01What it does

What Life Community Enrichment Inc does

Mission

The organization's mission is to promote charitable giving - "Enriching our communities, one life at a time".

As stated on its FY2021 Form 990.

Programs

  1. Each fall, LIFE Community Enrichment partners with Plano Elementary Pre-K and Elementary Schools to provide coats and shoes to needy students. During 2025, LCE purchased 372 coats and 481 pairs of shoes for students at sixteen area schools.

    $25,009 spent
  2. Every year, LIFE Community Enrichment adopts the residents of the Great Oaks Village Orphanage in Orlando, FL. LCE provides the mostly teenaged residents with gift cards for clothing and/or incidentals and a new pair of shoes and provides dinner on Christmas Eve. In 2025, all seventy residents received a $100 Target and a $100 Nike gift card ($14,000). Before LCE became involved with the facility, Christmas Eve dinner was very low-key, usually sandwiches, as the staff was busy preparing for Christmas dinner the next day. LCE allows the kids to select the restaurant, this year it was BJs Brewery ($1,777). Lastly, LCE purchase a gift for each cabin. This year the kids got indoor/outdoor Bluetooth speakers ($990).

    $16,767 spent
  3. During 2025, LCE granted over $13,440 to 14 different schools and district organizations. School Giving covers a broad variety of situations. It can be a diaper order for a SPED classroom, snacks during testing time, all the way up to campus enhancements. Below are our three largest school gifts of 2025.Plano ISD Campus Closures (Good Will)$4,097The largest school wish project of 2025 involved campuses that were set to close in PISD after the 2024-25 school year. Each of the four campuses was offered a wish from LCE toward their closing celebrations.Hickey Elementary School$3,000This School Wish was in honor of the Hickey (and PISD) Teacher of the Year, Adalixa Gomez Velasquez. Board member Clair Song was on the selection committee for the District's TOTY and interviewed her as part of the process and sat in on classes. While there, she got to see the results of an assignment in which students were to write an essay entitled "A Change at Hickey," in which they were to advocate for some

    $13,440 spent
  4. In 2025, LCE took over as the sponsor and organizer of the Plano Juneteenth Celebration. Due to the current political climate, companies that had previously stepped up to sponsor this event disappeared. When it looked like it could cause the event to be cancelled, LCE elected to invest enough funds to make sure the event was a success. The three-day event was the largest, most well-attended event Plano has ever seen! Planos mayor was so impressed he requested LCE apply for a city grant to fund the 2026 event. Our request was approved, and in 2026, LCE will receive $16,000 from the City of Plano!

Each line starts at 100 in 2018, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2018, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.

2 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of LIFE COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

LIFE COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 98% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund LIFE COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT INC.

Largest funder’s share by year: 2020 100% · 2021 100% · 2022 100% · 2023 100% — broadly stable.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of LIFE COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $7k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
