Programs

They sponsor several events throughout the year, including neighborhood and citywide trash pickups, recycling center field trips and school and other youth presentations about the three focus areas.
$26,209 spent95% of program spendingArbor Day is a project Keep Greenville Beautiful does in partnership with the City of Greenville Parks and Recreation Department. Volunteers go to each school to make a presentation about Arbor Day's history and about the benefits of trees before the gathering at the celebration. They give out between 2,600 and 2,700 seedlings each year and about 130 to 140 t-shirts. They purchase cake and punch to serve at the celebration, the mayor makes a proclamation and students from each school are given the opportunity to give a performance related to trees. This program has qualified the City of Greenville to be designated as a Tree City USA for 25 years in a row.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2017 to 2018, from $47k to $13k (−72%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
100% of Keep Greenville Beautiful’s revenue is contributions — more donation-reliant than the typical peer (92% for the typical peer).

Who funds it, year by year
2020 → 2023: the base held at 1 funder, grant income rose $11 → $27.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of Keep Greenville Beautiful’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of Keep Greenville Beautiful's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $73 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
