The adopt-a-street program maintained 39 roadway miles across 28 active segments to collect 2.3 tons of roadside trash, while a month-long "connect-ing love longview" neighborhood partnership successfully removed 30 tons of debris. Youth education initiatives expanded by wrapping 10 city sanitation trucks with student anti-litter artwork. Environmental efforts also included the "sow a seed sunday" event, which distributed 2,000 bluebonnet seed packets, sowed 35 pounds of native seed, and released 386 butterflies for regional pollination.
