Emergency response: following hurricane melissa, funds were distributed to the aphd and odcp community stakeholder associations to facilitate a comprehensive recovery effort. These resources provided emergency food and hygiene kits to 100 families, as well as christmas care packages for another 80 households. Infrastructure and education were also prioritized through the restoration of roads and canals, allowing 300 children and teachers to return to school safely. Additionally, the initiative addressed mental health by launching a trauma healing training program on december 18th for 10 local healthcare workers.
