01What it does

What Cardiac Kids Foundation of Florida Inc does

Mission

The mission of the cardiac kids foundation is to provide assistance to families and their children with heart disease. Support is provided in the form of financial assistance to those families who cannot afford prescription medications and related travel expenses for the families of hospitalized children. A portion of our assistance goes beyond financial and involves actual surgeries, training, education, and equipment supplied to communities who otherwise would not have this available to them. For example, our yearly jamaican mission trip, headed up by dr. Jeffrey jacobs and his team is currently responsible for saving countless lives through his efforts. The larry king cardiac foundation has been a huge supporter of these annual trips.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

1 of 3 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 0% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $128 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
