The purpose of the organization is to promote the development of Vermont agriculture through competitive exhibits, providing facilities and offering opportunity for public participation in them. Provide for the participation of youth in such exhibits involving the educational values implicit in active participation in such promotion and exhibition. To coordinate the educational opportunity for students in vocational courses of all kinds offered in the high school level and including, but not limited to, vocational agriculture as exemplified in the work of future farmers of america.
