Program
Youth recreation and enrichment. The ywca of warren, in collaboration with warren city schools, provides before and after school enrichment programs for students in grades k-5. We partner with the ohio department of job and family services, providing eligible families assistance to obtain quality, affordable care in our program. In 2012 services at 2 sites were consolidated to provide after school care at the ywca warren, taking advantage of the facility's central location. 30 students participated in the before and after school program in 2017. Camp discover is a summer enrichment program that provides children from across trumbull county in grades k-5 with a variety of summer activities, including swimming lessons, field trips, speakers, an annual talent show, and many more. The ywca warren is a licensed childcare site through the ohio department of jobs and family servcices, requiring the camp and all childcare programs to meet high qulity standards. 37 students participated in camp discover in 2017.
